Customer testimonials

Don’t take our word for it, see what our customers have to say about their experience with our support team.

“We are so excited about our new site! We love the way it’s built because it satisfies our number one goal which was flexibility. Working with Fifty means elevating my own knowledge and perspective about design, technology and creativity. You can’t imagine how big of an influence you are to me and my work.”

Eugenia Martin

Digital Marketing at Lifestraw

"On behalf of the team, I wanted to take a quick second and tell you just how much we appreciate all the hard work you've done, as well as your amazing, positive attitudes despite how much of this is coming together at the last minute! I've said it before, but it's worth repeating: we feel we're in excellent hands, and are super thankful to be working together."

Shannon

Co-Producer at The Game Changers

"It is with an almost unspeakable amount of joy and pride that I can officially say that Syria Street is alive, it's beautiful, it's trilingual, it's getting tweeted about, it's gorgeous, it's being shared, our boss loves it, it's being written about by magazines and outlets of high regard all over the world as we speak. IT’S ALL HAPPENING. And it would've all been nothing but a pipe dream without you guys.”

Frequently asked questions

Sometimes you just want a little more info. These are some questions that we get often. If you have any others feel free to contact us.

What are support hours?

Support hours include tasks such as plugin/core updates, edits to a page, CSS changes, or updating links or images.

These tasks will be used toward the hours that you have on your plan. Support hours can not be used for editing plugin code or writing custom plugins for a website, or designing a new section of a website. For more examples on support hours, see the question below.

What counts as support ticket you will fix?

The following are examples of what we consider ‘support tickets’ which can be rectified using hours included in your support and hosting plan:

  • - Website Updates that can be made via CMS
    • - Change colors
    • - Change fonts
    • - Update images
    • - Update copy
    • - Edit/duplicate page/posts
    • - Create pages/posts with existing website architecture
    • - Add existing section within an existing block
    • - Make menu changes
  • - Troubleshoot an error or bug
  • - Minor Code Changes (example: editing the footer section with a new link or social icon)
  • - Research/Recommend/Install /Activate/Run plugins of the client’s choice
  • - Create/Edit/Remove pop-ups for mobile and desktop
  • - Adjust current design / layout of a section (request clear instructions from client; ideally the client to provide a mockup)
  • - Create/Edit/Delete user logins
  • - iFrame code updates (donation forms)
  • - Review/Recommend/Add/Remove ad code
  • - Clearing Cache
  • - Resolve SSL Certificate issues

What would be an example of a request requiring dev hours?

The following are examples of development request which require either available monthly hours or additional cost:

  • - Building a new block with new features/enhancements
  • - Updating a website for WCAG guidelines
  • - Develop custom code for plugin functionality or donate button functionality
  • - Fixing Page spacing (this may involve hard coding CSS into the website)
  • - Update static features of the website that cannot be altered within WordPress (Header/Footer)
  • - Addressing user errors such as missing webpages or incorrectly created/edited pages/posts
  • - Resolve advanced bug errors
  • - Implementing UTM values for redirects
  • - Editing SVG images
  • - Incorporating pop-ups that require specific enhancements/features
  • - Relaunching an existing website with new updates – that has been in a private mode

What is I run out of support hours?

Currently, each support plan has dedicated support hours per month. If you have a task that requires more hours than are currently on your plan, you can either wait until the next month when you have more hours or purchase a block of development hours. We group development hours into 5 hour blocks and you can request changes off that bucket of hours.

What are standard response times?

Non-emergency Requests:

  • - Respond and acknowledge all requests within 24 hours
  • - Average resolution time – less than 72 hours.

Urgent/Emergency Requests:

  • - Average response and acknowledgment of request within 4 hours.
  • - Average resolution time – less than 12 hours.

What is an Urgent/Emergency Request?

  • - Site outage
  • - Donation Button/Form is no longer working

Can I manage plugins and have design access to my site?

Many organizations lack the development skills necessary to manage plugins and code within their Wordpress or Webflow sites. This creates challenges that can’t be easily handled within our cost-effective ‘Maintenance’ plan. Under this plan, we ensure the site code and plugins are working well by removing admin access and ask that clients request updates through our support ticket process. If you want access to the code and prefer a higher level of collaboration on the maintenance of your site, we suggest you consider the ‘Performance’ or 'Custom' plan which we'd be happy to discuss.

Do I have an account to manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Stripe via a Payment Link. Once set up, you will receive receipts for your hosting charges on a monthly basis and can reach out to our team for any changes or requests to cancel, upgrade, or downgrade your hosting package. There is no contract so you can do that any time.

I have a developer who needs access to the site.

Great! We highly encourage our clients to have additional resources to help with the site. If your developer does, inadvertently, cause downtime or require our team to investigate, you will be subject to our emergency time & materials rate of $300/hour.
